Campaign Amateur Theatre once again hits the stage of The Maltings in Ely, with their spectacular new production of Evita running from May 7th-10th.

After delighting audiences with the festive sparkle of Nativity! and the comedic brilliance of Spamalot, the company has proven its versatility and ambition. Now, with Evita, they take on one of musical theatre's most iconic and challenging productions.

Evita, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice tells the powerful and moving story of Eva Peron, charting her rise from humble beginnings to becoming the First Lady of Argentina. Packed with unforgettable songs including, 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina", "Oh, What a Circus" and "Another Suitcase in Another Hall", Lloyd Webber's soaring score, and Rice's powerful, emotional lyrics combine to give a real dramatic punch to this show.
